Our Mission

Hispanic Connection of Southern Indiana exists to serve underserved and vulnerable immigrants by providing trusted legal immigration services.

We are committed to promoting dignity, protecting rights, and walking alongside our community with compassion and care. In partnership with a network of service providers and community legal representatives, we advocate for social justice and empower individuals and families to build a secure future.

Our Story

Founded in 2003 by Lillian Rose, Hispanic Connection of Southern Indiana began in response to a growing need for immigration support within the local Hispanic community.

What started with one person’s commitment, supported by the Catholic Church in New Albany, has grown into a recognized and accredited organization serving thousands of individuals and families.

Today, we have proudly:

Served 11,000+ immigrants

Completed 8,000+ immigration petitions

Provided 500+ pro bono cases since 2014

Offered ESL classes, health clinics, civics education, and literacy support

Accreditation & Recognition

Awarded the 2025 Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid/GuideStar.

We are recognized as an Accredited Organization by the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ).

Which affirms the quality, credibility, and integrity of the services we provide. Our trained representatives are authorized to appear before immigration officials on behalf of our clients.
